About mysaNiTy

Introduction : MysaNiTy for Windows NT and 2000 server
networks.
MysaNiTy was designed by teachers for user account
management and
network security management for Windows NT , 2000, and 2003 Server networks with many
roaming users. MysaNiTy
was specifically created to save time for teachers and other network
administrators that have to manage networks with hundreds of roaming users.
MysaNiTy user account management creates, manages, moves, deletes, user
accounts, home directories, and IIS virtual Directories and controls workstation
security and desktop security, and drive printer mappings for Windows 2000 ,
2003, and
NT Server networks.
MysaNiTy for Windows NT , 2000 , and 2003 server networks manages
workstation security, desktop security,
and drive and printer mapping features by writing and maintaining multiple Kixtart©
logon scripts from one central source without intervention from the network
administrator.
Network administrators can also compliment mysaNiTy's
Kixtart©
logon scripting with their own scripting additions. Kixtart.org© is a freeware scripting language provided by
Microsoft©.
User Accounts:
MysaNiTy for Windows NT and 2000 server networks creates user accounts.
All accounts get a shared secure home
folder that is mapped during workstation logon for the user to store and
retrieve files from. Each home folder is also configured for Netscape 4x, Eudora Lite 3.05, Internet Explorer, Outlook Express internet preferences so that a
users bookmarks and email follow them where ever they logon.
Intra/Internet:
Each of mysaNiTy for Windows NT and 2000 server
networks user accounts home folder also has a www subfolder
that contains a default web page that has a virtual directory configured in
Internet Information Server.
Scripting:
With MysaNiTy for Windows NT and 2000 server networks, you'll never have to write another script again.
MysaNiTy writes and maintains multiple Kixtart© logon scripts.
MysaNiTy now
comes with one final blank script called addons.txt located in the
netlogon folder. Administrators can add their own scripting to compliment
mysaNiTy's scripting management.
