SETTING UP EMWAC© SO THAT USERS CAN CHECK FOR MAIL.
1. EMWAC© users who wish to check for mail must be a member of the Local User Group mailusers. We have already
created this Local Group for you when you installed our software and when you generate your user accounts , we add the
users automatically to this group for you.
** This group MUST have " Log on as Batch Job " rights as shown below.
1. Start –> Programs –> Administrative Tools –> User Manager for Domains
2. Select Policies –> User Rights
3. User Rights Policy window will appear as shown below and check the Show Advanced User Rights box and
select Log on as Batch Job by dropping down the combo box next to Right:
4. Click the ADD button and select the Local Group mailusers as shown below from the Add Users and Groups
Window.
5. Click the ADD button. Click OK and you will be returned to the User Rights Policy window where you should now see
mailusers on the list for Log on as Batch Job. Click OK.
