Installation Notes: Administrator account and drive/partition
permissions
1. ***Important*** 2003 Server
... following password defaults MUST be reset.
1) Minimum Password Length by default is 7 characters ,
set to 1.
2) Password Complexity must be disabled

Defaults on 2003 Server.
2. You must be logged onto server
using the administrator account or an account in the administrators group.
3. During the initial installation, the
selected physical drive or partition where the mysaNiTy files will be installed
( default - c:\mysanity ) must have full control permissions set
for the administrator account and/or administrators user group. Some new systems
sent out that have one or more partitions and/or drives " other "
than where the Windows files were installed may have only the group everyone set
with read only permissions.
3. The first time mysaNiTy is run,
completion of the installation occurs and the selected physical drive or
partition where the user accounts home folders will be stored must have full
control permissions set for the administrator account and/or administrators user
group. Some new systems purchased that have one or more partitions and/or drives
" other " than where the Windows files were installed may have
only the group everyone set with read only permissions.
