Installation Requirements 

Before you begin, ensure that your Windows Server is fully installed and configured.  

Requirements:

MysaNiTy can be installed on a Primary Domain Controller or on a Backup Domain Controller. If there is an existing backup domain controller, directory replication must be configured.

 If you wish any existing user accounts to work with the mysaNiTy system, you must configure the existing accounts to use the system.  This option will be available to you after you install and run mysaNiTy.

 If you are running Policies from your server (policy editor), The mysaNiTy system will disable the use of policies on Windows 95/98 workstations and will pass control over to the mysaNiTy system.  

If you wish to have your user accounts integrated with Internet Information Server (IIS) to support intranet functions, IIS should be installed before you create any accounts.  If you install IIS after you have created accounts contact candr@superweb.ca for support on how to configure the accounts.

If you demote and then promote a server running mysaNiTy©, the accounts that you had previously made are no longer functioning.
