Introduction to mysaNity

MysaNiTy© is designed to administrate user accounts on a Windows NT/95/98/ME/2000 Pro ® Network. All aspects of general user account management can be done using this simple interface.

 MysaNiTy© allows for multiple lab and/or workstation distribution and allows the administrator to control all aspects of the networking environment. Technology educators can decide the level of security that is needed depending on the varying users within any networking environment. Using mysaNiTy there can be a general security policy in place for all users but you also have the flexibility to offer different groups of users to have separate security and drive mappings.

Schools/Businesses vary greatly in terms of the size and composition of populations, physical layout, curriculum, and availability of technical resources.  There are rarely enough resources available to ensure that that there is a one to one ratio for computers to students, and the network administrator is usually a teacher with full teaching responsibilities. Keeping all this in mind, mysaNiTy was developed to help address these issues. It is a flexible tool that allows the computers to be used effectively as a communication tool by staff and students. It encompasses all of the security features needed to ensure that the network is safe from tampering but allows users access to the desktop features that they need..
