Running the Mail Clients for the first time

Outlook Express© 4 and 5

The first time Outlook Express© is run it always looks to the local station for mail. Just log out then log in again and Outlook Express© will now work for every user after.

If Outlook Express© had a previously configured mail, you will see Outlook Express© try to check two mail accounts, the current user logged on and some other user. You need to delete the other mail account from Outlook Express©. From the menu bar select –> tools –>accounts –> mail. You will see at least two mail account names.

Eudora Lite© 3.05 (Only)

If you are using Eudora Lite© 3.05, then simply logon, use the variable  %eudora% in the Start In: box for the Short Cut Properties. ON Windows 95/98 stations winset.exe is run and sets %Eudora% to the users home folder to where the users MysaNiTy generated Eudora Lite 3.05  .ini file amd mail boxes is located. Users  mail, address book, and bookmarks will follow them wherever they go.

 Netscape 4.x

 In Netscape 4.x if you get the profile manager when you run Netscape® using a new MysaNiTy account ( test using your MysaNiTy account that is in the administrators group), select manage profiles, you will see two  user profiles on the profile list,  delete the first entry on the list. The second entry is the one setup by MysaNiTy. Launch Netscape 4x and test to see if your bookmarks and mail preferences are yours.
