Moving User Accounts 

A time may come when you may want to move a group of user accounts to another group.  This can be done in a very short time using the Move Users feature. The Destination Group must be empty of accounts.  

1)   The Destination Group must not have any current accounts. This prevents you from mixing together two groups accidentally. Create a new group for these users if you need to manage users by having many groups. 

2)   Select Source Group in the left list   then Destination Group in the right drop down list.

 3)   Select   Move Users

If the Destination Group is not empty of user accounts, you will be prompted and told you can only move a group to the destination group only if it is empty.

If any users in that group are logged on you will be prompted with a list of those users and prompted to continue or abort. 

** It is recommended that you move accounts while no users are logged onto the system and reboot the system before moving accounts. **
